HELP CENTER

Build with clear steps.

easyCAD turns bounded modeling requests into editable, inspectable CAD work. This guide covers the supported path from account setup to downloadable files.

01

Start in the workspace

Verify your email and open the workspace. For a first box, enter “Create 100 x 80 x 10 mm box” and submit. You can also choose a supported parametric template. Select a part in the tree or the 3D view to see its editable context.

02

Edit with intent

Change dimensions in the parameter panel or right-click a selected part. The current selection, history, and revision stay connected so a failed edit can preserve the previous model.

03

Inspect and download

Wait for the job to complete, review the geometry and report, then download STEP or FCStd outputs. Use history to compare or restore a prior revision.

CURRENT AVAILABILITY

What is supported

Bounded primitives, parametric templates, through holes, validated boolean operations, revolved profiles, wheel templates, and direct parameter edits are supported within their stated limits.

Imported geometry is read-only unless it includes a supported parameter manifest that passes validation. Arbitrary CAD operations are outside this workflow. Geometry output does not certify strength, manufacturing, or safety.

Current service availability could not be checked. Open the workspace for current options.

Projects and recovery

Projects remain available in your account with their revision history. Deleted projects enter a 30-day trash window. Projects with queued or running jobs cannot be moved to trash. Trashed projects and their stored revisions still count toward your limits during the recovery window. Eligible references are removed after expiry; orphan files are cleaned up separately.

Account deletion requests go through manual review. Project history and financial records are retained according to the account process.

Credits and billing

The test subscription is US$20 per month. Paid AI credit is US$10 per billing period; free credit is US$8 once. Paid credit is used first, while free credit is retained. Paid credit does not carry into a new billing period.

System failures do not charge user credit. The service has a test budget and does not promise unlimited AI availability.

FAQ

Common questions

Can I ask for any CAD model?

Requests must fit the supported, validated modeling scope. The service explains a bounded limitation when a request is outside that scope.

Will an import keep all original parameters?

No. Imported STEP or unsupported FCStd geometry is read-only. Parameter editing requires a supported manifest and successful validation.

What happens when a job fails?

The previous model and revision are preserved. Review the error, adjust the request or parameters, and submit a new bounded change.

How do I get help?

Open Support to send a plain-text request, or email support@easycad.me. Include a job ID when useful, and never include passwords, API keys, or other secrets.
